History, nature, culture or entertainment, it’s all happening in La Manche!

Our campsite in Lower Normandy, Le Grand Large *****, is ideally located in the Cotentin region, between the Hague customs trails, the Cité de la Mer museum, the town of Cherbourg and the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. Normandy is yours to discover, with its culture and heritage.

Cherbourg and La Cité de la mer: cultural and scientific tourist complex dedicated to human adventure under the sea. Visit the Redoubtable submarine and aquariums.

Mont-Saint-Michel: The bay and Mont-Saint-Michel are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It’s also a village, an abbey and a museum.

Parc des Marais: A traditional bocage landscape, the park opens onto the sea on either side of the Cotentin peninsula.

The D-Day landing beaches: A place of remembrance bringing together all the sites, cemeteries and museums dealing with D-Day.

GR 223: follow the old customs path along the coast.
